Books and other education websites provide "matter-of-fact" knowledge. Instead, nubtrek provides a thought-process to discover knowledge.

In each of the topic, the outline of the thought-process, for that topic, is provided for learners and educators.

• 100 xx 3//12 = 25%
• 100 xx 3//12 = 25%
• a ratio cannot be converted to percentage

The answer is "25%".

Convert the percentage 50% to ratio.

• 50% = 50:100 = 1:2
• 50% = 50:100 = 1:2
• it cannot be converted

The answer is "1:2".

Note that a percentage is given in a context, like the number of apples is 50% of the number of oranges.

When the percentage is converted to a ratio, the ratio is specified in the same context, like the number of apples to number or oranges is in 1:2 ratio.
